WET/Diffusion Equipment Engineer (Dallas)
About the role
This role is responsible for evaluating, selecting, maintaining, and optimizing equipment used in manufacturing semiconductor products.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, select, and order equipment for the manufacture of semiconductor products.
- Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and reliability, establishing programs to increase uptime and resolve manufacturing process issues.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
- Define and write preventative maintenance schedules while tracking manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer.
Nice to have
- Equipment experience with AMAT PVD and/or AMAT TxZ chambers.
- Prior experience with PVD, CVD, high vacuum, and/or ultra high vacuum.
- Equipment experience with AMAT, Veeco, TEL, Novellus, and/or ASM tools.
- Experience with tool monitoring and interdiction software, equipment maintenance, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, SPC techniques, and semiconductor cleanroom protocol.
