About the role
This Wafer Yield & Data Analytics Intern will support the Device and Product Engineering teams by helping collect, organize, and track wafer lot data across GaN and SiC product lines.
What you'll do
- Help collect wafer lot data from existing internal reports, foundry files, and test outputs.
- Assist in organizing this data into clear, consistent spreadsheets or files.
- Help calculate and summarize basic wafer- and part-level yield numbers.
- Support the team in building and keeping up a simple database or master spreadsheet of lot data.
- Enter new lot data into the database/spreadsheet and help spot obvious errors or gaps.
- Help put together simple charts or summaries for yield trends.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- Comfortable working in Excel (basic formulas, sorting/filtering, simple charts).
- Comfortable working with numbers and organized data.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational habits.
- Eagerness to learn.
Nice to have
- Some exposure to SQL, Python, or similar tools.
- Coursework or interest in semiconductor devices or manufacturing.
- Prior class project, internship, or club experience involving data analysis.
