About the role
This role involves sustaining and running the factory floor, with a primary focus on resolving equipment and process issues for 300 mm diffusion furnace semiconductor equipment.
What you'll do
- Monitor, control, and qualify 300 mm diffusion furnace semiconductor equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities.
- React to error messages from factory systems and/or equipment.
- Review Statistical Process Control charts and other system indicators for process quality, including defect troubleshooting.
- Recover from process and tool interruptions.
- Identify and address potential areas for improvement to optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost.
What you'll need
- High School Degree (or equivalent).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to perform shift work on a 12-hour shift schedule.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor industry protocol and requirements.
- Ability to wear all required cleanroom and safety protective clothing and equipment throughout a 12-hour day.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis.
