About the role
This role involves being the single-point owner of factory performance for an assigned shift in the East Fishkill 300mm Wafer Fab.
What you'll do
- Own and deliver shift-level performance results across equipment uptime, throughput, quality, cycle time, and cost.
- Translate daily factory targets into clear, prioritized execution plans for the shift.
- Lead on-shift problem definition, containment, and recovery for equipment, process, staffing, and material constraints.
- Lead technicians and operators with clear expectations for performance, behavior, and ownership.
- Lead disciplined shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of factory status, open risks, and next actions for unresolved issues.
- Drive consistent use of metrics, standard work, and accountability mechanisms to improve factory performance.
What you'll need
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, or other high-reliability operational environments.
- Demonstrated history of owning operational results, not just supervising activity.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions under time pressure and ambiguity.
- Strong track record of leading people through problems, change, and accountability.
Nice to have
- Experience owning shift-based operations with advanced tools, tightly coupled processes, and high operational risk.
- Background in structured problem solving, performance management, and operational excellence systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Related).
