About the role
This role is responsible for defining and driving Voice AI technology across multiple business units, including mobile, compute, smart glasses, wearables, personal AI, IoT, and automotive. The Voice AI Product Manager owns the end-to-end product lifecycle for the Voice AI stack covering wake word detection, speech recognition (ASR), text-to-speech (TTS), and hardware/software platform roadmaps.
What you'll do
- Define and execute long-term Voice AI product strategy and maintain the Voice AI software roadmap. - Drive the full product lifecycle from requirements and development through validation and launch across DSP, AI SW, and OS engineering teams. - Define feature sets and partner with engineering to achieve key metrics across power, latency, and accuracy. - Partner across business units, chipset teams, AI/ML hardware/software teams, and OS teams (Android, Windows, Linux). - Work directly with OEMs, customers, and voice AI ecosystem partners to translate requirements into platform capabilities. - Conduct market analysis on competing voice AI solutions and evaluate on-device versus cloud partitioning.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or a related field. - 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
Nice to have
- 7+ years of Product Management or related work experience. - Experience with audio, voice, and/or AI software systems. - Technical background in AI/ML pipelines including Speech Recognition, Natural Language Processing, and Text-to-Speech. - Familiarity with low-power and embedded systems, including DSPs and NPUs. - Experience working in large matrixed organizations and collaborating with external ecosystem players.
