About the role
MACOM is seeking an intern to join the Morgan Hill test engineering team in software development and testing. The role focuses on developing software and implementing it on the production floor within the Operations department.
What you'll do
- Participate directly in test engineering activities across the Operations department. - Develop software and implement it on the production floor. - Execute an individual, well-defined 12-week technical project with set outcome goals. - Prepare and present project successes and pitfalls during the intern Poster Session.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar field. - Experience using MS Office. - Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with C. - Experience with C++. - Experience with Python. - Experience with SQL and/or relevant tools.
