About the role
Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, is hiring a Test Engineer to define, develop, and maintain the data infrastructure used to identify ICC, test time, and yield issues from volume data for test solutions development. The role focuses on developing ATE test program solutions for FPGAs across Advantest T2000, Verigy93000, and Teradyne J750/Flex platforms.
What you'll do
- Define, develop, implement, and support ATE test program solutions for FPGAs, including test pattern conversion, test method construction, and integration of timings/levels and test flow into test programs.
- Build test programs using ATE platforms including Advantest T2000, Verigy93000, and Teradyne J750/Flex.
- Utilize database, scripting, and data analysis skills to convert raw ATE data into dashboards for test engineers and architect data systems, algorithms, prototypes, and pipelines.
- Collaborate with IC Design, Software Engineering, Product Verification, and Product and Test teams across global locations to deliver test solutions.
- Participate in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process by generating, debugging, and implementing new test programs to production alongside test pattern developers.
- Drive productivity improvements and cost reduction activities, including test time reduction and multi-site development and implementation.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with logic and circuit design.
- Experience with Verilog or VHDL.
- Experience with ASIC design tools for synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, and static timing analysis.
- Experience operating in Unix or Linux environments.
- Experience with C or C++, Ruby, Python, and Git.
