Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) quad wafer chambers and Trillium products.
About the role
The Technical Project Manager supports Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) New Product Transitions within the ALD Manufacturing Engineering team, guiding products from pilot builds through to volume manufacturing. The scope focuses on high-level Plan for Record (POR) development, module manufacturing strategies, and Development Tool of Record (DTOR) shipments for products such as quad wafer chambers and Trillium platforms.
What you'll do
- Develop high-level POR and manufacturing strategies with Design Engineering, NPMEs, Materials PMs, and Operations, defining where and how modules are built and tested. - Manage manufacturing builds ranging from lab chambers and Early Learning Shipment (ELS) builds through the ALD pilot line to customer DTOR shipments. - Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products, including launching, releasing, approving, and implementing engineering change requests. - Apply DFx principles, estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements. - Collaborate with Central Test Engineering and test technicians to design, develop, and source test fixtures and convert test specifications into production tests. - Evaluate operational and test data, drive root cause analysis on internal and external non-conformances, and integrate corrective actions into test processes.
What you'll need
- 5 to 10 years of experience in technical project management or engineering roles. - Conceptual and practical expertise in project management and working knowledge of capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. - Experience applying DFx principles to manufacturing processes and product documentation. - Demonstrated background in failure analysis, root cause corrective actions, and continuous improvement processes. - Experience coordinating engineering change requests and working with cross-functional manufacturing and design teams.
Nice to have
- Deeper knowledge of ALD tools.
