About the role
This role is responsible for all technical support aspects at a specific customer, covering escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs, and upgrades. The position acts as an intermediary and field escalation focal point between customer teams and the Division.
What you'll do
- Provide technical support and documentation to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging equipment. - Deliver Alpha Site and Beta Site support for installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, software, or process designs. - Initiate and review ECOs to ensure data supports fixes, followed by technical communication to the field. - Generate and present system performance metrics, including MTBF, MTBI, Availability, process data, and I/W spending analysis. - Support GPS in creating technical documentation, including CENs and BKMs, covering technical improvements, system upgrades, and support plans.
What you'll need
- Conceptual and practical expertise in equipment engineering or product support disciplines. - Demonstrated capability diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex semiconductor equipment. - Experience generating and analyzing system performance metrics including MTBF, MTBI, and Availability. - Ability to initiate and review ECOs and develop technical documentation such as CENs and BKMs. - Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
