About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking a Manufacturing Technician Supervisor (Pit Crew Supervisor) to oversee the maintenance of production and test equipment and supervise maintenance specialists in Richardson.
What you'll do
- Oversee technicians repairing and maintaining production and test equipment to meet company standards and ensure minimum equipment downtime. - Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and operating procedures. - Manage training programs to ensure proper equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures. - Maintain inventory and spare parts, and schedule manufacturing activities. - Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function while supervising skilled non-exempt employees.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED. - Associates degree in a technical field, OR 2 years of experience working in an Engineering, Technician, or Maintenance Specialist capacity in a fab environment. - 2 years of relevant experience. - Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule. - Flexibility to work day or night shift including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- 1+ years of supervisor experience in a semiconductor environment (Engineering, Technician or Pit Crew capacity in fab environment). - Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.
