About the role
Ambarella is seeking a System Software Engineer to develop and maintain Linux distributions for edge AI vision processors.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain Linux distributions, focusing on major system components.
- Perform cross-compilation of software.
- Manage software repository maintenance.
- Build and maintain development tools.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong programming skills.
- Deep understanding of open-source software and open-source communities.
- Proficiency in working in a Linux desktop environment.
- Familiarity with package management (DEB/RPM).
- Experience with Linux driver development.
