About the role
The Senior Hardware Engineer designs and develops complex hardware systems from architectural definition through to final validation and release.
What you'll do
- Lead the design and development of complex, high-performance circuits and systems, making architectural and component trade-off decisions.
- Design and develop printed circuit board (PCB) layouts in compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain electronic component libraries, including schematic symbols and PCB land patterns aligned with IPC standards.
- Create and maintain design documentation, including schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions.
- Generate, validate, and release comprehensive PCB fabrication (TED) packages.
- Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and conduct design reviews.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in hardware engineering delivering complex products from concept to production.
- Proficiency with EDA tools for schematic capture and PCB layout such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL, or Cadence Allegro PCB Designer.
- Experience with ATE applications.
