About the role
What you'll do
- Drive automation of Synthesis, Place and Route, Logic Eqv, and Functional ECO methodologies for advanced technology nodes.
- Collaborate with EDA vendors to identify solutions, resolve tool/methodology issues, and enhance flow capabilities.
- Contribute to AMD’s design infrastructure by improving automation, performance, and methodology robustness.
- Support design teams globally on issues related to Front-End Synthesis flow targets.
What you'll need
- Hands-on experience in Front-End Synthesis, Logical Eqv, and Conformal ECO flows.
- Hands-on experience with industry standard tools such as Innovus, Genus, DC, Fusion Compiler, FM, VCLP, ICC2, Conformal.
- Master's degree in Electronics Engineering.
- 5-9 years of experience in CAD flow and methodology development on advanced nodes.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages: Python, Tcl, Perl, sed/awk.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience in any of PnR, STA, Formal Verification, or RTL coding domains.
