What you'll do
- Carry out wafer-level measurements on test structures using semiconductor parameter analyzers, capacitance meters, and source measurement units.
- Perform flicker noise measurements using noise characterization instruments.
- Test ESD (electrostatic discharge) devices using TLP (transmission line pulse) testers.
- Generate test reports, summaries, and automate recurring characterization data workflows.
- Participate in AI-related initiatives that improve device characterization workflows, data analysis, or test automation.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or Systems Engineering in the US.
- Understanding of semiconductor device physics and circuit operation.
- Experience performing measurements with lab equipment such as IV meters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.
- Experience with Python, Visual Basic, C, or LabVIEW.
Nice to have
- Experience with semiconductor characterization equipment including semiconductor parametric analyzers, capacitance meters, and source measurement units.
- Familiarity with programming test instruments using GPIB.
