About the role

This role involves managing industry suppliers, developing commodity strategies, and resolving delivery, cost, and production challenges within the Global Commodity Management team.

What you'll do

• Drive the commodity strategy for RF Build to Print and Build to Specification Components and Assemblies.
• Establish strategic commodity vision, evaluate/source suppliers, and manage supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with finance/accounting for inventory, cost savings, and cash flow management.
• Represent on a cross-functional strategic commodity team focusing on supply challenges.
• Define and monitor metrics for supplier performance against AOP objectives.
• Manage commodity spend through negotiation, material cost reductions, alternate sourcing, and technology changes.
• Support material availability escalations and coordinate with suppliers.
• Manage contracts for ongoing and new business with suppliers.
• Develop Business Continuity plans and Risk management programs.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Electrical / Production/ Industrial Engineering or any other stream.
• MBA.
• 12-15 years in commodity management in Engineering / Manufacturing Industry.
• Commodity Management and familiarity with semiconductor, Electrical equipment Manufacturing or high-technology supply management practices, standards and organizations.
• Business and technical background understanding of RF Components / Assemblies / Box Builds.
