About the role
This role involves gaining hands-on experience in supplier management, cost analysis, supply planning, and sourcing strategy within the semiconductor industry. You will leverage analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply risks.
What you'll do
- Analyze supplier cost, capacity, and spend data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support should-cost analysis, price benchmarking, cost comparisons, and price variance analysis.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and capacity.
- Support RFQs, supplier comparisons, and quotation analysis.
- Map supplier capability and product offering against Skyworks’ needs.
- Translate data into business insight and actionable information.
What you'll need
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proactive and willing to learn about Sourcing, Suppliers, and the semiconductor industry.
