About the role
This role involves the design, verification, test, and validation of power management ICs for advanced computing platforms. The focus is on power management subsystems including digital power VRMs, multiphase controllers, Smart Power Stages, Vertical Power Stages, Power Towers, and power MOSFETs.
What you'll do
- Own the design, verification, test, and validation of assigned power management subsystems through production and sustaining support.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with firmware, test, product, and customer engineering teams.
- Perform root cause analysis on customer returns and field issues.
- Contribute to system-level architecture and design reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical growth.
- Drive continuous improvement in design methodologies, verification strategies, and validation approaches.
What you'll need
- MSEE or equivalent.
- 7+ years in Mixed-Signal SOC products, with proven tapeout-to-production experience.
- Deep expertise in one of the core functional disciplines: Analog & mixed-signal design (compensation, feedback networks, power conversion), or RTL & digital design (control firmware, telemetry, algorithms), or Design verification (simulation, formal methods, DV methodology), or System-level design/architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new technical skills across multiple disciplines (analog, digital, firmware, design verification, test).
- Ability to understand and reason about complex systems – feedback loops, platform interactions, multi-domain dependencies.
- Automated bench testing & silicon/system validation.
- Broad exposure across test, product, firmware, behavioral modeling of analog and mixed-signal circuits.
- Use of tracking systems for development milestones, tasks, and bug resolution.
- Experience collaborating with customers, marketing, applications, test, and product engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
