About the role

This role involves the architecture, design, and validation of analog power ICs within the Power Management division, focusing on Power Loss Protection, PMICs, Motor Control, and Battery Management solutions. You will develop high-performance power management solutions for Mobile, Consumer, IoT, and Industrial markets.

What you'll do

  • Lead design and development of high-performance analog power management ICs.
  • Collaborate with system engineers to define product architecture and specifications.
  • Implement optimal circuit topologies, ensuring robustness and manufacturability.
  • Conduct transistor-level design, simulation, and validation.
  • Work with layout engineers to optimize floor planning and parasitic.
  • Partner with test and characterization engineers to define validation methodologies.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 15+ years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • 8+ years of experience in analog and mixed-signal Integrated circuit (IC) design with DC-DC power converter architectures.
  • Experience with voltage mode control and current mode control.
  • Experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, including EMIR tools, capacitive coupling tools and flows, parasitic extraction tools, and floating nodes.
  • Experience with production release of power management ICs.

Nice to have

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Simplis, and ADS.
  • Hands-on lab experience supporting high frequency switching power supplies in the semiconductor power management industry.
