About the role
This Staff Mixed Signal IC Designer role involves working on high performance consumer audio products within a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. It offers the opportunity to influence architecture decisions at the system level.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture definition of analog and mixed signal functionality
- Execute designs from abstract level down to transistor level
- Provide guidance and instructions for layout implementation, bench evaluation, and production test
- Actively participate in bench evaluation
- Communicate design choices, performance, and progress
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership for junior engineers
What you'll need
- 5+ years of progressive experience in architecting and designing analog and mixed signal circuits
- Hands-on experience on low power designs at transistor level
- Proficient with Spectre simulation tools or equivalent
- Proficient with behavioral/system-level modeling tools
- Good understanding of semiconductor device physics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Good understanding of signal processing such as data-converter and DSP
- Experience with power design
- Experience in audio IC design
