About the role
This role involves mixed-signal design engineering within Micron's Pathfinding Design Team, contributing to defining, developing, and analyzing high-speed logics for memory operation. The position focuses on memory technologies, including DRAM and emerging memories.
What you'll do
- Provide technical direction and design implementation for memory control circuits (digital and analog).
- Collaborate with physical design teams for timing closure, CDC robustness, and power intent alignment.
- Work with custom mixed-signal IC build and development for volatile or nonvolatile memory technology.
- Model and simulate ICs using HSPICE/finesim.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in custom mixed-signal circuit design.
- Proficiency with UNIX and CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction).
Nice to have
- Experience with DDR or other high-performance memory architectures.
- Knowledge of clock-domain crossing (CDC), reset strategies, and low-power design.
- Experience in semi-custom digital circuit design (high-speed data-path design).
- Experience with memory control logic design.
