About the role
SanDisk is seeking a Staff Device Engineer, Technology Development to develop NAND memory trim and support flash memory performance and reliability for high-density storage applications. The role operates at the interface between storage business units, technology development, and manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Develop NAND memory trim and optimize the performance and reliability envelope of flash memory.
- Partner with NAND design and system development teams to advance technology and product development.
- Define, develop, and execute NAND flash memory performance and reliability tests.
- Analyze and report test data to cross-functional teams to guide product and process improvements.
- Coordinate with process, design, reliability, and system groups to support product devices, memory qualification, and volume production ramps.
What you'll need
- M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Material Science, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics and familiarity with advanced semiconductor processes.
- Knowledge in design of experiment and data analysis.
- Experience with scripting languages and/or statistical analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams.
