About the role
This role involves developing high-performance power management solutions. You will drive architecture, design, and validation of analog power ICs focusing on Power Loss Protection, PMICs, Motor Control, and Battery Management solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead the design and development of analog power management ICs.
- Collaborate with system engineers to define product architecture and specifications.
- Select and implement optimal circuit topologies.
- Conduct transistor-level design, simulation, and validation.
- Work with layout engineers to optimize floor planning and parasitic.
- Partner with test and characterization engineers to define validation methodologies.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
- 6+ years of experience in analog and mixed-signal Integrated circuit (IC) design, with DC-DC power converter architectures and control methodologies such as voltage mode control and current mode control.
- Experience working in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools such as EMIR tools capacitive coupling tools and flows, parasitic extraction tools, floating nodes.
- Experience with production release of power management ICs.
Nice to have
- Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Simplis, and ADS.
- Hands-on lab experience supporting high frequency switching power supplies in the semiconductor power management industry.

How we counted: 88 open Analog IC Design (Power Management) roles from 15 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 10 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Analog & Mixed-Signal family row.
