About the role
This Staff Analog Engineer role involves developing IP for Automotive, Industrial & Medical products.
What you'll do
- Drive development and verification of analog blocks and mixed-signal CMOS designs.
- Participate in analog circuit requirements discussions to define product specifications.
- Build and develop circuits based on IP specifications, driving layout design and final IP characterization.
- Execute analog designs following best practices and ensure on-time quality releases.
- Debug complex integrated circuit problems in the laboratory and collaborate on debug efforts.
- Perform bench characterization and support application engineering evaluations.
- Analyze design aspects related to DFT and collaborate on DFT strategy for block designs.
- Document designs, including architecture, circuit descriptions, testing procedures, and safety mechanisms.
What you'll need
- 15+ years of relevant experience or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with 13+ years of relevant experience in analog circuit design.
- Analog design experience in verification, documentation, and post-silicon validation.
- Broad understanding of integrated circuit design such as amplifiers, filters, BGAP circuits, oscillators.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor devices like MOS transistors, BJTs.
- Knowledge with behavioral top-level modeling and mixed-signal verification methodology.
- Working knowledge of Cadence Circuit design tools.
- Knowledge of multiple semiconductor design tools like Matlab, Spectre, Spice, Cadence design environment.
- Hands-on experience in a lab environment working with sensitive measurement equipment and data acquisition.
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux working environment.
Nice to have
- AMS simulation experience.
