- Define PI requirements, specifications, and decoupling strategies for all major power rails.
- Debug and root cause PI issues during bring up, validation, and production phases.
- Correlate silicon measurements with simulations and refine models accordingly.
- Collaborate with architecture, silicon, package, and board teams to deliver system aware PI solutions.
- Improve PI methodologies, automation flows, and analysis processes.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- One (1) year of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.
- One (1) year of experience with PDN fundamentals, power delivery design, and PI analysis.
- One (1) year of experience using PI simulation tools such as RedHawk, Voltus, SIwave, Sigrity, and SPICE.
- Experience managing silicon, packaging, and PCB power delivery constraints.

How we counted: 92 open Hardware Systems Engineering (SOC Architecture) roles from 24 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 6 Nov 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Software, Firmware & Systems family row.
