About the role
SanDisk is seeking a Sr. Staff VLSI Design Engineer in Milpitas, California to design, develop, modify, and evaluate chip architecture and circuit structures for high-performance 3-dimensional NAND flash memories.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, modify, and evaluate chip architecture and Core/Analog/Data Path circuit structures for feasibility studies of high-performance 3-dimensional NAND memories.
- Evaluate circuits using HSPICE, PRIMESIM, and VERILOG simulations.
- Conduct post-silicon evaluation when silicon arrives.
- Work extensively on power integrity, signal integrity, and chip floorplanning.
What you'll need
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and/or experience in non-volatile memory design, particularly NAND flash memory cell operation.
- Design and device background with experience evaluating new process technologies for use in design.
Nice to have
- MS with 7+ years or PhD with 5+ years of relevant experience.
