About the role
This role involves the design, optimization, and verification of analog CMOS integrated circuits from top-level specification analysis to production support.
What you'll do
- Perform system design, including top-level specification analysis and system optimization.
- Design analog blocks from specification definition to production support.
- Execute design and optimization, verification, technical documentation, and layout supervision.
- Conduct silicon lab evaluation, characterization, and debug.
- Develop block or system modeling.
- Provide technical support to test, product, and application engineers.
- Interface with digital, firmware, verification, layout, and cross-functional teams.
What you'll need
- 7+ years' experience in analog CMOS integrated circuit design.
- M.S. in EE or higher.
- Solid understanding and experience in designing transistor-level CMOS analog and mixed-signal blocks and systems, including IC technology and layout.
- In-depth knowledge of analog mixed-signal concepts, techniques, and trade-offs like speed, power, noise, mismatch, linearity, stability, and area.
- Strong knowledge of IC design CAD tools including schematic entry, Spice, and mixed-mode simulation tools.
- Experience with lab instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, supplies, meters) and associated measurement methods.
- Knowledge of system-level aspects: signal processing, mixed-signal, digital, modeling, test, and application.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-resolution, low-power ADC architectures, design, and techniques.
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre/AFS, Siemens Symphony, Matlab, Verilog/VHDL.
- Experience with analog/mixed-signal behavioral model development/verification.
- Experience with consumer and/or ITA market circuit developments.
