About the role
This role involves supervising the work area within material fabrication, focusing on planning, assigning work, and improving methods.
What you'll do
- Supervise and schedule activities of a designated shift, ensuring delivery against schedules and priorities.
- Advise direct reports on administrative procedures, technical problems, and work priorities.
- Ensure employee training is completed and that employees follow all SOPs.
- Maintain day-to-day records and progress reports.
- Monitor workflow steps, equipment, and resources, implementing changes and fostering cooperation.
- Interview, hire, supervise, train, develop, motivate, and evaluate staff performance.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a senior production, engineering, or managerial capacity.
- Extensive experience in the semiconductor/manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with operational excellence tools including lean manufacturing and planning techniques.
- Ability to effectively lead teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
