About the role
This role is responsible for failure analysis of OmniVision Image Sensor products and issuing failure analysis reports for customer failures. You will assure quality throughout the product life cycle, including product development, manufacturing, failure analysis, production releases, and servicing.
What you'll do
- Perform electrical failure analysis on image sensor products and customer returns, generating technical reports for internal and external consumption. - Drive customer problem analysis, corrective actions, and issue failure analysis reports. - Lead quality improvement initiatives and implement proactive actions to reduce test quality incidents. - Drive internal quality improvement activities across design, test, and supplier quality. - Improve product, test, and customer quality processes to advocate test quality and end-user satisfaction.
What you'll need
- BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. - 5+ years of experience in Product, Quality, or Test engineering in the semiconductor industry. - Experience with electrical failure analysis of electronic component/module testing. - Proficiency in problem solving, report writing, and follow-through.
Nice to have
- MS degree. - Knowledge of image sensor testing and quality.
