About the role
This role involves the architecture, design, and validation of analog power ICs within the Power Management division. The focus is on Power Loss Protection, PMICs, Motor Control, and Battery Management solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead the design and development of high-performance analog power management ICs.
- Collaborate with system engineers to define product architecture and specifications.
- Select and implement optimal circuit topologies.
- Conduct transistor-level design, simulation, and validation.
- Work closely with layout engineers to optimize floor planning and parasitic.
- Partner with test and characterization engineers to define validation methodologies and troubleshoot design issues.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 12+ years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
- 8+ years of experience in analog and mixed-signal Integrated circuit (IC) design, with DC-DC power converter architectures and control methodologies such as voltage mode control and current mode control.
- Experience working in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools such as EMIR tools, capacitive coupling tools and flows, parasitic extraction tools, and floating nodes.
- Experience with production release of power management ICs.
Nice to have
- Masters or PHD in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Simplis, and ADS.
- Hands-on lab experience supporting high frequency switching power supplies in the semiconductor power management industry.

How we counted: 93 open Analog IC Design (Power Management) roles from 15 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 1 Oct 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Analog & Mixed-Signal family row.
