About the role
This role involves the design of highly-integrated microwave and millimeter-wave analog blocks.
What you'll do
- Write proposals for new products, including technical aspects and time estimates.
- Participate in customer meetings and technical interchange meetings.
- Contribute to product development, including system-level specifications, floorplanning, characterization, and productization.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to design complex analog blocks.
- Drive process improvement that impacts the engineering function.
What you'll need
- Expertise in designing analog building blocks including bandgaps, differential amplifiers, op-amps, LDOs, and bias circuits.
- Expertise in designing analog/mixed-signal blocks such as temperature sensors, power detectors, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, clock generators and process monitors.
- Full understanding of the impact of advanced CMOS process effects on analog circuits.
- Experience in full custom analog layout implementation and parasitic extraction/modeling.
- Proven experience in post-silicon validation and debug in high-volume products.
- MSEE with 12 years overall experience or Ph.D. with a minimum of 10 years overall experience.
