About the role
This role involves the design, characterization, and improvement of MEMS devices, contributing to SiTime's MEMS timing products.
What you'll do
- Design MEMS devices and characterize electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance.
- Extend and enhance automated infrastructure for MEMS design, data collection, and analysis.
- Design, run, and analyze experiments to understand device physics, materials, and fabrication.
- Interface with local and overseas vendors.
- Work in cross-functional teams, including Circuits, Systems, and Packaging.
What you'll need
- Ph.D. in ME, EE, Physics, or equivalent.
- Ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics.
- Knowledge in fundamentals of MEMS devices.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- 1+ years of industry experience.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages, circuits, metrology equipment and methods.
- Knowledge of finite element simulation tools (COMSOL, ANSYS) and signal processing tools (Matlab).
