This role focuses on highly configurable mixed-signal products, including the GreenPAK family of products.
About the role
This role involves the design and industrialization of highly configurable mixed-signal products within the Analog & Connectivity organization in CMSD Korea. The team develops high performance analog IPs, DC-DC, and FPGA for a wide range of applications, including consumer, communication, computing, data center, industrial, and automotive applications.
What you'll do
- Understand transistor- and system-level architecture.
- Ensure performance of high precision analog blocks against process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) variations.
- Contribute to high-performance silicon-proven IP development.
- Collaborate with digital engineers on trimming and control for analog circuits.
- Guide layout engineers to minimize layout effects.
- Perform hands-on evaluation of IPs using equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Collaborate with test engineering to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Analyze ATE & CHZ data to validate product specifications.
- Model analog and mixed-signal circuits for top-level testbenches.
What you'll need
- M.D. or Ph.D in EE semiconductor design using CMOS.
- Strong knowledge in design and layout of analog and mixed-signal circuit design and architecture with amplifiers, comparators, bandgaps, voltage- and current-generators, oscillators, regulators, data converters, and digital logic.
- Strong background in analog and digital IC design, layout, tools, process, and measurement.
- Strong understanding of Mixed-Signal design flow and Top-Down development methodology for optimizing PPA (Power, Performance, Area).
- Experience with simulation tools (Cadence, Verilog, Python).
- Experience in semiconductor reliability and failure analysis.
- Strong English communication skills with Design, Characterization, Test Engineering, and technical writing teams.
