About the role
This role involves the implementation, simulation, layout, and validation of analog designs for microcontrollers (MCUs). The designs could include data converters (ADC, DAC), clock generators (PLL), or other analog or mixed-signal IP for NXP MCUs.
What you'll do
- Define innovative circuit architectures to meet product requirements.
- Implement, simulate, layout, and validate analog designs for microcontrollers (MCUs).
- Realize analog circuits, including leading design reviews and creating documentation.
- Ensure specifications are met via simulation (behavioral, transistor level, or combinations) and realized in silicon.
- Guide and review layout implementation and post-layout circuit performance.
- Support productization of IP, including characterization, production test, and life testing.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in electronic/electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of product development experience.
- Experience with one or more of these IP areas: ADC, DAC, PLL, Oscillators, References, LDO, DC-DC, amplifiers, filters.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to have
- Experience creating and using behavioral models (AMS, DMS, Matlab, System-C or equivalent).
