This internship focuses on the Treo Platform, built on advanced 65nm Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD) technology.
About the role
This internship offers an opportunity to work alongside experienced analog, digital, and mixed-signal engineers developing integrated circuits. You will contribute to projects for the Treo Platform, a 65nm Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD) technology platform supporting automotive, industrial, medical, and AI infrastructure applications.
What you'll do
- Assist in the design and simulation of analog and mixed-signal circuits.
- Support development of power-management and clocking functions (e.g., voltage regulators, oscillators, timing circuits).
- Run circuit simulations and analyze performance across operating conditions.
- Develop and debug RTL using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Create simulation testbenches and verification environments.
- Develop behavioral models using SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS, or Verilog-A.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong academic background in semiconductor devices, circuits, digital design, or computer architecture.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following: Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, Python, C/C++.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in Analog & Mixed-Signal: Analog circuit design, CMOS fundamentals, SPICE simulation, Device physics, Mixed-signal systems.
- Experience in Digital Design: RTL development, FPGA design, Computer architecture, Digital logic design, Hardware acceleration.
- Experience in Verification & Modeling: SystemVerilog, UVM, Functional verification, Verilog-A / Verilog-AMS, Real Number Modeling.
Skills: analog circuit design, mixed-signal circuits, RTL development, Verilog/SystemVerilog, SPICE simulation

How we counted: 282 open Analog IC Design (Analog Design) roles from 51 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 30 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Analog & Mixed-Signal family row.
