About the role
Keysight Technologies is seeking a Solutions Engineer - EDA to establish and expand Keysight EDA software solutions within customer design flows across Aerospace & Defense and Commercial accounts. The role focuses on customer engagement supporting MMIC, RFIC, electromagnetic, and system-level design flows.
What you'll do
- Establish and expand Keysight EDA solutions within customer design flows across Aerospace Defense and Commercial accounts. - Enable customer success with Keysight software by delivering regular training events, webinars, and technical seminars. - Discuss technical details with customers and execute benchmarks or evaluations when needed. - Prioritize ongoing design and technical activities at customer sites, articulate design flow gaps and opportunities, and hold regular office hours to resolve design issues. - Promote new solutions, products, and capabilities through direct customer engagements with a focus on MMIC, RFIC, electromagnetic, and system-level solutions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - 5+ years of experience in at least one related field: RF Component or RF System design, RFIC or MMIC design, or Applications Engineering. - Knowledge of fundamental concepts related to RF/Microwave and/or Electronic System Level designs. - Knowledge of Keysight EDA tools such as ADS, SystemVue, and/or other industry EDA tools. - Strong interaction skills with customers and communication skills. - US Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar field. - Expert-level knowledge of RFIC or MMIC design flows. - Proven expertise with Keysight EDA tools like ADS and SystemVue. - Experience working in or with US government labs or aerospace/defense contractors. - Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems. - Experience with high-performance computing solutions.
