About the role
The Principal Application Engineer will report directly to the Design Engineering Director, supporting products from concept and early development through production release. The technical focus is on MMIC amplifiers including LNAs, power amplifiers, and distributed wideband amplifiers operating from 100Khz to 110GHz.
What you'll do
- Act as technical lead in engineering lab testing of parts operating from 100Khz to 110GHz. - Author and release Advanced and Preliminary datasheets. - Review DVT test plans and oversee their execution. - Lead evaluation board development and characterization. - Manage projects and support internal and external customers while collaborating with design engineers and lab personnel.
What you'll need
- Experience working in an R&D engineering lab environment. - Background in RF and microwave characterization using probe stations and test equipment. - Experience with MMIC amplifiers, including LNAs, power amplifiers, or distributed wideband amplifiers. - Proven track record with evaluation board development and DVT test plans.
