About the role
The Solutions Architect - DevOps & Platform Engineering leads the design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise software delivery and infrastructure platforms.
What you'll do
- Define and execute enterprise DevOps and Platform Engineering strategies, technical roadmaps, reference architectures, and governance models.
- Architect and implement internal developer platforms providing self-service capabilities and standardized "golden path" engineering workflows.
- Design and govern enterprise CI/CD platforms, release orchestration, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) automation frameworks.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure architectures across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Integrate DevSecOps controls across the software development lifecycle, addressing software supply chain security, SBOM generation, artifact management, and compliance frameworks.
- Design enterprise observability platforms covering monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and operational analytics.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or related disciplines designing enterprise-scale solutions.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, source control management, and engineering workflow automation.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience designing and operating containerized platforms using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, software supply chain security controls, artifact governance, and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, SLSA, or EU CRA.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot, agent-based workflows, and prompt engineering.
