About the role
This role involves planning, implementing, executing, and reporting on the development of power semiconductor products to meet technical and business objectives. You will develop wide bandgap semiconductor technology for Vishay's proprietary power device product portfolio.
What you'll do
- Plan, implement, execute, and report the progress of power semiconductor product development.
- Manage technology and product development program schedules to meet critical milestones.
- Work with cross-functional R&D engineering and production teams to execute new product developments.
- Coordinate between project stakeholders from initial requirements definition through manufacturing ramp.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication, task prioritization, and key program decision-making.
What you'll need
- Degree in electrical engineering, materials science, or a related technical field.
- Comprehensive background in power semiconductor materials, semiconductor device physics, and fabrication process.
- 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry with prior program management or product development experience.
- Knowledge of semiconductor devices and/or industrial semiconductor technology.
- Ability to communicate effectively through technical presentations and technical reports.
Nice to have
- Experience in power devices product development.
- Experience in industrial and/or automotive industry standards.
