Focus on SerDes IP support for server products.
About the role
This role provides SerDes IP support to the Server team, focusing on system-level channel design and robust link performance in terms of SI/PI.
What you'll do
- Work between the SerDes IP team and the Server product team.
- Run IBIS-AMI model link level simulations.
- Analyze results and make decisions and recommendations.
- Prepare technical communications, presentations, and documentation.
What you'll need
- Basic understanding of SerDes architecture.
- Understanding of equalization principle.
- Experience in system level channel design.
- Experience with IBIS-AMI model link level simulations.
- Understanding of PCIe specifications of different generations.
- Familiarity with Matlab, C/C++ programming, Python.
- Experience with lab equipment for high-speed digital systems.
- Background in statistics and signal processing.
- Understanding of SI/PI basics for high-speed serial links.
- Skillset of PCB design.
