About the role
As a Senior Solutions Architect on the NVIDIA Retail Solutions Architect team, you will assist with the design, architecture, validation, and NPI deployment of GPU-based clusters for enterprise AI infrastructure and AI supercomputers. The role bridges GPU, NVLink, and software solutions directly between engineering and field teams supporting customer cluster deployments.
What you'll do
- Work with customers to design GPU clusters across compute, networking, and storage for large-scale AI training and modular inference clusters. - Work closely with OEMs to ensure successful first deployments with new products, including new network architectures and topologies. - Provide feedback to product and engineering teams on reference architectures, deployment, and performance. - Perform hands-on work to assist enterprises in debugging issues relating to cluster design and configuration. - Support NPI customer deployments with new GPU and networking architectures.
What you'll need
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 8+ years of experience in cluster design, validation, and issue resolution, specifically on GPU and HPC clusters. - Proven expertise in designing large-scale distributed systems, AI clusters, or HPC infrastructure. - Ability to communicate technical details with technical leaders and customer executives. - Ability to handle multi-functional communications across customer, product team, support team, and engineering teams.
