About the role
This role involves building solutions to boost productivity and efficiency of custom circuit designs within the Circuits Solutions Group.
What you'll do
- Work on projects involving pre-silicon and post-silicon hardware design and related data.
- Support projects with applications such as silicon data analysis, process variation analysis, VLSI design analysis, and timing analysis.
- Develop EDA/CAD tools for chip development using good software engineering practices.
- Support existing development infrastructure and identify improvements with Backend engineers.
- Manage the full life-cycle of tool development, including data storage design, UI design, testing, development, deployment, and maintenance.
What you'll need
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Programming skills in C++, Tcl, Python, or other scripting languages (such as Perl, Shell).
- Experience with tool development including GUI, database management, testing, and deployment.
- Familiarity with AI models for code development and code reviews.
- Familiarity with MCP, agent skills, agent orchestrations, and spec-driven development.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of EDA tools like ICC2, Design Compiler, PrimeTime, and Innovus.
- Experience with VLSI, ASIC, EDA, or Silicon data.
