About the role
This role involves defining reliability test methodologies and assessing product qualification for semiconductor devices. The focus is on Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology reliability assessment.
What you'll do
- Define reliability test methodologies for GaN technology development.
- Perform reliability data analysis and prepare internal/external reports.
- Develop technology and product qualification plans and ensure timely execution.
- Drive failure analysis and root cause analysis.
- Facilitate structured problem-solving using Is/Is-Not, Fault Tree Analysis, Fishbone, 5-why, and 8D methodology.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or related discipline.
- 5+ years in a comparable role.
- Understanding reliability testing methodologies (DHTOL, HTRB, HTGB, TC, THB) and failure analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of industry standards (JEDEC, AEC, AQG).
- Fundamental understanding of statistical distribution (Weibull, lognormal), experience with Minitab, JMP or other statistical tools for data analysis.
- Understanding of semiconductor fab processes, inspection, and failure analysis.
Nice to have
- M.S. or PhD.
- Active participation in industry consortia and standards development.
