About the role

This role involves the architecture, design, simulation, layout oversight, and characterization of high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. The focus is on new and innovative solutions for mobile device power management and RF front end solutions.

What you'll do

  • Architect, design, simulate, and characterize analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
  • Oversee layout of high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
  • Design precision amplifiers and comparators, voltage references, bias circuits, oscillators, clock generation circuits, ADCs, DACs, and power management building blocks.
  • Develop mixed-signal control and calibration circuits.
  • Collaborate with system architects, digital designers, product teams, and customers.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.

What you'll need

  • BSEE with 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong analog IC design experience at the transistor level.
  • Experience designing amplifiers, comparators, voltage references, bias circuits, oscillators, ADCs/DACs, or mixed-signal subsystems.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and analog verification tools.
  • Strong understanding of analog circuit design fundamentals, device physics, noise analysis, stability and compensation techniques, and matching and PVT variation analysis.
  • Hands-on silicon characterization and debug experience.

Nice to have

  • M.S. or Ph.D. degrees with 15+ years of experience.
  • Familiarity with RF transceiver and front-end architectures, trade-offs, and system specifications.
  • End-to-end analog/RFIC development experience from definition to productization.
  • Solid knowledge of device physics over PVT and frequency.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and programming tools such as MATLAB, JMP, Spotfire, and ADS AEL.

Skills: Analog IC Design, power management, RF front end, amplifiers, ADCs/DACs, Cadence Virtuoso
