About the role
This role involves the layout development of analog ICs for custom mobile electronics.
What you'll do
- Frame the layout schedule, effort estimation, risk, and mitigation plan for layout activities.
- Collaborate with designers to understand IC architecture and key requirements.
- Balance area, performance, and schedule during layout development with design, packaging, and process teams.
- Work with the Process development team for PDK, P-cell, and Design rule updates.
- Analyze and close Electro Migration, Thermal gradients, ESD/LU performance, and layout parasitics.
- Mentor and guide junior layout engineers, review their work, and provide feedback.
What you'll need
- Experience in IC layout.
- Ability to understand architecture and key requirements for ICs.
- Knowledge of PDK, P-cell, and Design rule updates.
- Experience with Electro Migration, Thermal gradients, and ESD/LU performance.
- Ability to develop test vehicles for new process and package technology.
- Experience in reviewing layout work and providing feedback.
