About the role
Directs the activities of software systems development, applications development, and quality assurance functions for software enhancements and new products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools. Focuses on test code and automated test farms for etch and deposition products.
What you'll do
- Lead a software development team focused on creating test code for a large software system. - Manage the software lifecycle for automated test farms, including incorporating customer requirements, maintaining existing codebases, and investigating problem areas. - Design, develop, and troubleshoot automated software test farm code. - Communicate solutions, presentations, and documentation to internal and external stakeholders and upper-level management. - Collaborate with global cross-functional teams located in Japan, Taiwan, China, and India. - Handle employee management responsibilities and support business travel of up to 20%.
What you'll need
- B.S. or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, with 7+ years of industry experience. - At least 5 years of experience leading a software development team. - At least 10 years of semiconductor equipment experience. - Deep understanding and experience in automated testing of highly complex software systems. - Understanding of Generative AI tools for test code generation and specification analysis. - Knowledge of object-oriented software implementation and design, including design patterns and finite state machines.
