Senior Engineer I, Technical Program Management

About the role
This role involves organizing and researching proposed product baselines, including product changes, releases, and obsolescence. You will serve as the Product Change Lead for a specific product line, implementing product changes across the enterprise from proposal to execution.
What you'll do
- Manage the global product baseline and change process within a designated business unit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product baselines and change control requirements.
- Lead programs and projects to develop efficient product change management processes.
- Provide product support to manufacturing, supply chain, product management, and other functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy.
- Manage Digital Mockup (DMU) and iteration modeling instances.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex technical programs and engineering projects.
- Minimum 3 years in product configuration and systems engineering.
- Strong exposure to Configuration Management (CMII) practices.
- Solid understanding of Project Management principles (PMI foundation).
- Knowledge of inventory management and CPIM practices.
- Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) and ERP systems (SAP S4 Hana, MRP).
- Proficiency in 3D CAD environments (CREO).
Nice to have
- CMII certification.
- Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma methodologies.
