About the role
What you'll do
- Participate in product development activities, including precision analog circuit design, mixed-signal design and verification, integrated power analog design, or digital circuit design.
- Design analog or digital circuits and perform chip level integrations considering design yield and testability.
- Apply system level and block level circuitry simulation and modelling to design new circuits or techniques.
- Analyze silicon design evaluation data and verify circuits and ICs using advanced mixed-signal techniques.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot complex integrated circuit problems in the lab and perform functional and performance testing.
- Coordinate project activities across cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept through production release.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or a closely related technical discipline and two (2) years of experience in analog design or a related occupation.
- Demonstrated expertise performing analog design, simulation, layout, and verification for analog, mixed-signal, or power designs using transistor level software design tools such as Cadence tools or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise evaluating silicon design implementations on one or more CMOS or BCD processes.
- Demonstrated expertise participating in all phases of new product development and release activities (debug, evaluation, characterization, qualification, and final test).
- Demonstrated expertise leveraging device physics fundamentals and knowledge of semiconductor processing in CMOS or BCD technology to design and verify analog or mixed-signal IC design blocks, including amplifiers, comparators, bandgap and oscillators.
- Demonstrated expertise performing circuit evaluation, characterization, and failure analysis using lab or bench test equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
