About the role
This role is for a Senior Engineer in Analog Circuit Design within the $2.6B Power Business Unit. You will work on high voltage products such as isolated gate drivers, HV GaN power stages, and LV GaN drivers and power stages.
What you'll do
- Execute full-chip designs for devices like gate drivers.
- Understand characteristics, device physics, and operating modes of MOS, Diodes, and power FETs (LDMOS).
- Apply conceptual understanding of analog building blocks like Schmitt Trigger, Level Shifter, Bandgap References, Current Mirrors, Amplifiers, and Comparators.
- Understand analog design concepts such as mismatch, noise, gain, and offset.
- Utilize knowledge of transistor layout and fabrication processes.
- Understand ESD protection circuits for CMOS IC.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in analog circuit design.
- Proven record of executing full-chip designs.
- Courses in Analog Circuit Design, Simulation and Verification.
- Schematic generation, simulation, and verification using CAD tools like PSPICE.
