About the role
This role involves providing day-to-day IT operations and project support for Marvell Japan offices and users across Tokyo, Osaka, and Hiratsuka.
What you'll do
- Set up and maintain Marvell standard computer systems, including OS, software, business applications, and VPN.
- Provide basic onsite troubleshooting and support for laptops, desktops, cellphones, and tablets.
- Perform routine checks, repair, and maintenance for IT room hardware and computer hardware.
- Manage IT assets and inventory, including assignment, collection, transfer, updates in SNOW, and physical counts.
- Conduct basic onsite troubleshooting and support for network systems, including wired/wireless routine checks.
- Support communication and collaboration tools like ZOOM and SLACK.
What you'll need
- 4 years of hands-on experience supporting end-users in corporate environments.
- College degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Fluent English.
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving Windows/macOS issues, application errors, system performance problems, and peripheral device failures.
- Experienced with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and imaging tools.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and basic switch/port checks.
- Proficient with ServiceNow or similar ITSM & Ticketing Tools for incident, request, and asset management.
- Familiar with SCCM, Intune, JAMF, or similar tools for imaging, patching, and device configuration.
- Understanding of corporate security policies, MFA, antivirus tools, and data-protection practices.
- Skilled in conference room setup, AV equipment support, office IT moves, and vendor coordination.
Nice to have
- Mandarin proficiency.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience supporting semiconductor companies.
