About the role
This role focuses on standard cell library design and characterization within deep submicron technologies, driving transistor-level circuit design, modeling, and performance analysis.
What you'll do
- Work on standard cell library design and characterization in deep submicron technologies.
- Drive transistor level circuit design, modeling, and performance analysis processes.
- Support and develop tools using Perl/Python.
- Develop new simulations for timing/power/noise/OCV evaluations.
- Improve quality checks for library work.
What you'll need
- MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in deep submicron process issues.
- Deep understanding of the design, verification, and characterization of standard cell libraries.
- Deep understanding of generating timing/power/noise/OCV views of standard cells, data validation, and QA process.
- Familiarity with Liberty models and their application to digital implementation and signoff flows.
- Hands-on experience running SPICE simulation.
Nice to have
- 4+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in scripting language, such as Perl, Tcl, Make, and automation methods/algorithms.
- Past standard cell library or IP characterization experience.
